VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Providing Therapies for Clients with Cancer or other Life Limiting Conditions - CT4D2

These therapies are delivered alongside orthodox treatments, often within the healthcare setting, with the aim of providing psychological and emotional support through the relief of symptoms.

What practical skills will you learn?

This course is designed for learners who are currently working or would like to work in a hospice or hospital setting and are looking to enhance their massage skills, and for those wishing to offer treatments within their clinic. You will also become competent in preparing your room, equipment and client ready for their treatment.

What entry requirements do you need?

You require an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in either Aromatherapy, Reflexology or Massage in addition to a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology to start this course.  You will also need to organise a work placement within a healthcare setting where you can work with both clients/patients and carers in a realistic working environment (WRE). You must also have a good general education and be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently.

How will you learn?

This course is delivered in 5 days and is mostly practical based in our treatment salon where you will work with other students, practising your newly acquired skills. The days will be divided to ensure learners have enough time to complete case studies and assignments to show as evidence in their portfolios.

This course is designed for you to work at your own pace. From enrollment, you have one year to complete the course.  You will be required to complete evidence workbooks, assessments and case studies as well as your face to face training.

£900 including assessment fees which can be paid in instalments with a deposit of £150 followed by 5 monthly instalments of £150

Where could this qualification take you?

You will receive an accredited certificate on completion of this course which will allow you to carry out the treatment in employment or self employment.
