Jane, Company Director/Lecturer
Hi, I’m Jane. I would like to extend a warm welcome to ATA Beauty – Advanced Training Academy, a dream that I established in 2016 having worked within the industry and education sectors for 27 years.
I’m a fully qualified level 5 therapist trained in beauty, holistic and sports therapies. I am also a lecturer and assessor with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
My passion is teaching students and watching them flourish before embarking on exciting and rewarding new careers. Many of our students return again and again to continue to upgrade their skills and their positive feedback makes a proud testament to the hard work of my team.
I look forward to meeting you in person at the academy in the very near future.
Jemma, Lecturer
I’m Jemma. I started at ATA Training Academy in 2018 to train as a massage therapist after doing canine massage for 10 years. I am qualified at level 3 in sports, Swedish, Indian head and hot stone massages. In 2019 I completed my BTEC level 5 in sports and remedial soft tissue therapy. Since 2018 I have run a successful massage business.
I’m passionate about passing on my knowledge to new and existing students at the academy as I truly believe it’s a great industry to be in.
Sharon, Lecturer
Hi I am Sharon. I have 9 years experience in the beauty industry beginning in career 2011 when I qualified as a beauty therapist renting a room in a hairdressing salon where I specialised in tanning. I have progressed on to open my own successful salon Sharon Louise Beauty & Tanning, employing three further therapists.
I love to learn and constantly update and refresh my skills adding a broad range of treatments. I am passionate about acrylic nails and semi permanent make-up. I love to teach and enjoy helping others reach their goals in this rewarding industry. Acrylic nails are something I struggled with initially so I love sharing my extensive knowledge to turn a student into a confident nail tech. I can’t wait to see you soon.
