Lava Shell Massage

Treat your clients to a warming touch through massage

Lava Shell massage is a heat treatment that uses Tiger Clam shells as the massage tool. The clams are harvested for food in the Philippines with the shells being recycled and used for Lava Shell massage.  Once heated, the shells glide over the body to relax tense muscles and smooth away knots.

What practical skills will you learn?

You will learn how to heat the clam shells using the lava gel sachet and liquid activator, and how to utilise their smooth surfaces to glide along the body. You will also become competent in preparing your room, equipment, and client ready for their treatment.
