Acrylic Nails

Go to great lengths to enhance your client's nails 

Acrylics are a combination of a liquid monomer and a powder polymer that form a paste which is bonded to the natural nail. It's then given the desired shape, where it hardens in place to add strength, length, and durability to the nail.

What practical skills will you learn?

This course will teach you the acrylic nail extension process to begin offering this treatment to your clients. We will take you through the extension procedure, blending techniques and maintenance procedure, including aftercare advice. You will also become competent in preparing your room, equipment and client ready for their treatment.

What entry requirements do you need?

You require a manicure qualification to start this course and you must also have a good general education and be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently.

How will you learn?

This one day course is mostly practical based in our treatment salon where you will work with other students, practising your newly acquired skills.  A short workbook will be completed within the session.

Where could this qualification take you?

You will receive an accredited certificate on completion of this course which will allow you to carry out the treatment in employment or self employment.
